  1. President’s Report-Laura Yount
          • The slate committee is planning for the 2023-24 school year.  It will need to add 1 more person to the Family Ambassador Committee.  One person will be in charge of the new families and 1 person will be in charge of sympathy/care & concern.
          • Mr. Richards presented on BSN.  This would allow PTO to order spirit wear online. PTO will discuss using this option.
          • VP’s need to get their binders together to pass on to the 2023-24 slate!
          • The Board needs to talk next month about school retirements and the 8th grade class gift.

  1. Treasurer Report-Renee Rohle
        • We are on track for the 2022-23 school year!!
        • The budget for 2023-24 will need to be approved next meeting.
        • Each VP needs to ask their committees if their budgets need to be adjusted for next school year.

  1. VP Ways and Means-Gina Cohen

Eagle Night Out

          • ENO is this Friday, March 26th!  We need parent volunteers and snack donations. The committee will have a DJ, snacks, food, games, a magician and photo booth at the event.    Parent volunteers in the gym will be asked to spread out and actually “monitor” what the kids are doing.  Gina will ask committee to provide beach balls instead of volleyballs.

Parent Social

          • The social will be on Thursday, April 27th at a comedy club.  The Board has some concerns about it being on a Thursday night.  The comedy club will donated 20% from each ticket sold to the PTO.  The Board suggests that next year the social be done at the beginning of the school year to promote “community.”

  1. VP School and Community-Shannon Fisher (Report given by Laura Yount)

Nominations

            • The 2023-24 slate planning is underway.
          • Staff Appreciation
              • They are crushing it!  The teachers and staff are loving it!  They will be having a Rock N Roll theme for Staff Appreciation Week.
              • Grounds- (report given by Michael Richards)
                • On April 3rd and April 10th the Eagle Ambassador group will do grounds clean up.  This will be tied in with Earth Day.  Mr. Richards will send out a Sign Up Genius to ask parents to donate tool, etc.  This will hopefully encourage school pride!  There will also be some inside “spring cleaning” done.  This will help spruce up the school.  This date is TBA.
